The shade overhangs the base like a sheltering roof. Beautifully crafted in America of cherry wood. Black Stain allows you to still see the wood grain. Arrives fully assembled. The lamp has a single 75Watt incandescent bulb pre installed as well as a dimmer switch. 24" High. 14" x 17" Base
