Hot Pursuit by Nicholas Trudgian Fritz Losigkeit and Gerhard Thysen"Hot Pursuit" by Nicholas Trudgian portrays Me109's attacking B 17 formations, defended at altitude by P 51 Mustangs. In the fight two B 17's have been hit and an earlier attacking Me109 streaming smoke, dives out of the fight. The Mustang is set to turn in on the second wave of attacking 109's. Pilots of the Luftwaffe were in almost daily combat with boxed B 17's and escorting long rang fighters, most of the way to their target and home. The print is
