Inspiration:  Inspired by the warmth of the sun after several days of rain

I take a look at how the glass has formed now that its molten

orange and a bit of lemongrass

I have over sized the glass on the Stainless base for a dramatic effect

dragonfly and leaves are kiln-casted and permanently adhered to the background

Artistic Process: The butterflies were cut out of a dichroic glass mosaic with a Rig Saw and fire polished in the kiln. The various flowers are kilncasted and the "stems" was a special glass stringer melting technique. All were tack fired in the design to 2 fused layers of glass for the background. This stand is black iron. Dimensions: 5" wide x 8. 25" tall x 3. 5" deep
