Large Industrial Foundry Molds Circa 1960s Bauhaus 1960s German industrial factory /Large circa 1960s industrial foundry mold used in the production of machine parts via metal casting. Made from wood this mold would be pressed into sand to form a negative space, into which molten metal would be poured to create the machine part. These molds were acquired from Webster & Horsfall a 300 year old factory ( still running to this day ) in Birmingham renowned for producing steel cable. They produced some of the strongest cable in the world,
