The glass is stacked in a predesigned order on top of steel rods that are above a stainless steel form

Artistic Process: Sunny Odyssey started with laying out colored glass in patterns on top of a structure with holes in it

The artistic process:  I started by making glass pebbles which takes several firings to combine the colors of yellow

then ground up glass in same colors is added all around the cut glass and tack fused together

The crackle is first created with various  hot colored glass that was ground fine and mixed with a medium and poured in a design on top of a piece of glass

Rainbow Swirls Music Note Small Scape The glass is stacked inRainbow Swirls Music Note. 13" tall x 7. 5" wide Inspired by my Rainbow Pollination Party sculpture, with as many different colors swirls as possible just like the background of the Rainbow Pollination Party. The first step was to recreate the swirls of each color and then cut them into smaller pieces and then to combine to make the glass design. The next step was to draw the design onto the glass with a waterproof marker then cut out on my ring saw.
