I love a waffle weave, it's so cozy and cute to use for garments. Years ago I used a similar fabric, a heavy linen waffle to make a Hovea Jacket by Megan Nielsen and I got loads of compliments on it. It gives kind of a "house coat" cardigan vibe because of the yummy textured weave. I also think it would work well for a pullover by pairing it with a rib knit for the neckline and arm cuffs.
