Standard practice recommends taking levothyroxine on an empty stomach, 30-60 minutes before breakfast or at bedtime (at least 3-4 hours after the last meal), and separated from calcium and iron supplements by at least 4 hours
Mild Side Effects Side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, fatigue, dizziness, and hypoglycemia
