Saburomaru / Wakatsuru Far East of Peat Second Batch Shizuoka An absolute rarity that's almostNormally, whisky producers in Japan don't exchange casks with each other. In 2017, Sabumaru Wakatsuru exchanged casks with the Nagahama distillery. This blended malt whisky was launched on the Japanese market in early 2021. As the name suggests, lightly peated whiskies were used for this blended malt whisky. Only 7,000 bottles were produced in total, and they are now completely sold out in Japan.
